Sophia Gimino

Sophia Gimino is the Secretary of the JAC. Sophia has been with First Tee Greater Wichita for 2 years. Sophia attends Wichita Kapaun Mount Carmel Catholic High school and is a member of the Varsity Girls Golf team. Sophia is on the team that won the 2021 KSHSAA State championship.  Sophia is also a member of the Varsity Basketball team and the Varsity Track team at KMC.  Sophia is the reigning State Champion in the javelin at Kapaun. Sophia’s favorite golf memory is on the 6th hole at Sim Park, she hit a shot over a tree onto the green and in the hole for a birdie! Her favorite thing about First Tee Greater Wichita is her co-workers, coaches, and volunteers.  She loves to pass on her knowledge of everything to the kids and loves being around them.
